Experience, expertise, and enthusiasm – that’s Atlanta’s Competitive Edge. ACE Academy coaches bring years of performance-minded experience to the court and provide a unique learning environment that will benefit any player with the desire to improve.

Each coach focuses on a detailed process of developing aspiring junior tennis players into high performance athletes. Through the sport of tennis, we teach our students the intrinsic value of self-worth, mental discipline, and physical conditioning. These skills will help our students become accomplished professionals in their particular chosen fields – both on and off the court.

	Jeff Weaver, Director The founder of Atlanta's Competitive Edge Tennis Academy. Jeff, a USPTA certified P-1 instructor, has been developing top national juniors in Atlanta since 1992. ACE Academy has produced numerous national junior champions in the past 15 years. Most of ACE Academy graduates have gone on to play college tennis.
	Walter Constantine, M.Ed. LAPC, Head Coach As a former ACE junior, Walter experienced first-hand the benefits of training at ACE. After receiving his BA from Presbyterian College, and M.Ed. from the University of Georgia, Walter joined on as head pro of ACE Academy. Walter, a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional, USTA Certified Sports Science Level 1 and 2, is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and is the head counselor for Progressive Athletics. He is the only junior development coach who is also a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. “We are passionate about developing tennis players into world-class athletes. The lifelong values that our students learn are intrinsic and we look forward to continually playing an integral part in our player’s lives and their respective future careers.”
	Andrea Terrill Weatherford, Tennis Coach Another former ACE student, Andrea joined the ACE coaching staff following her success as a staff pro at the Palisades Tennis Center in Pacific Palisades, CA. Andrea , a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional and a high nationally ranked junior, was also a member of the Tennis Professional Team under Steve Bellamy, the creator of the Tennis Channel. Andrea has her BA in Communications from East Carolina University. "We find great joy in captivating our student’s attention and motivating them as they focus on their skill sets. Nothing is more fulfilling as a coach then to see our kids develop confidence in their games.”
	John Lawrence, Tennis Coach John, also a former ACE student and USPTA certified professional, cracked top 20 in the South as a junior. He has relocated back to Atlanta after a two year tenure as the Junior Coordinator at Cape Fear Country Club in Wilmington, N.C. During this time John trained some of the top juniors in North Carolina. John has also introduced numerous young players to tournament tennis. "I'm excited to be back with ACE Academy! It's pretty cool to be coaching at the academy that developed me as a junior."
